When to Have the Photo Booth at Your Wedding
The most common — and most effective — placement is during the cocktail hour and into the reception. How far in advance should I book a photo booth for my wedding?
We recommend booking as early as possible — ideally 3–6 months in advance for Saturday weddings. Popular dates, especially in peak wedding season (March–May and September–November), fill up quickly. If your wedding is sooner, contact us directly and we’ll do our best to accommodate you.
Do you provide a backdrop for the wedding photo booth?
Yes. We provide a backdrop as part of the setup. You can choose from our range of standard backdrops or discuss a custom backdrop option that matches your wedding décor. Popular choices for weddings include floral walls, white curtain drapes and sequin backdrops.
Can we customise the photo strips for our wedding?
Absolutely — custom strip design is included in every package. We design your strips to match your wedding theme, incorporating your names, wedding date, colour palette and any other details you’d like. You’ll see and approve the design before your wedding day.
How much space does the photo booth need at our venue?
The inflatable photo booth requires approximately 4m x 4m of floor space and access to a standard 220V power outlet. The social/selfie booth requires approximately 2m x 2m. Both can be set up indoors or outdoors. If you’re unsure whether your venue can accommodate the booth, send us the floor plan and we’ll advise.
Do guests get digital copies of the photos?
Yes. In addition to the printed strips, every session is available digitally. Guests can receive their photos instantly via email or QR code, making it easy to share on WhatsApp and Instagram on the night. The full gallery is also available via your private online gallery link within 24 hours.
Will there be someone to operate the booth at our wedding?
Yes. A professional attendant is included with every hire. They arrive early to set up, stay for the full duration of your hire to assist guests, keep the props organised and ensure everything runs smoothly, and then pack down quietly when the time is up. You and your guests don’t need to worry about a thing.
Do you travel outside of Johannesburg and Pretoria for weddings?
Yes. We regularly travel to wedding venues in Hartbeespoort, Magaliesberg, the Cradle of Humankind, Cape Town and the Winelands. A travel fee may apply for venues outside Gauteng — contact us with your venue details for an accurate quote.
